The Golden Sickle, original 1962 edition, is a legendary and extremely rare album featuring 5 titles, including 3 previously published and 2 unpublished. This copy is in exceptional condition: flawless balloon endpapers, perfect title page, with bright and intense colors on the reading pages. The stitched gatherings remain solid and intact. The white spine is complete with slight compression at the head and tail, and some minor color loss along the back edge. The covers are clean, with the back cover a brilliant white. The album remains perfectly flat. A minor tear in the margin of page 18 and slight yellowing of the white margins are the only defects. A reference copy for discerning collectors, listed in the BDM.
