Magnificent solid silver sugar bowl from the early 19th century, authenticated by the "vieillard" hallmark on the bowl and "Cérès" on the lid. This collector's item combines classic elegance with master craftsmanship, adorned with small cherubs and intricate caryatids.
Please note: the original interior glass liner is missing. Some visible flaws attest to its history: missing wings on one of the cherubs, a restoration (solder) on one caryatid, and a slight twist in another caryatid. These details are shown in the photos.
Dimensions: height 22 cm (lid included), bowl diameter 11 cm at the rim. Net weight: 400 grams.
A beautiful acquisition for the enthusiast of antique silverware and historical pieces.
