1912 pattern mounted gendarme helmet, attributed period piece with name engraved under the visor. Manufactured by Fanck et Fils. In good overall condition with patina consistent with age: small dings on the skull, slight paint loss on the visor and neck guard. Complete and original set, no extra holes. Beautiful crest with intact horsehair, high-quality plume with silvered pompon, chin scales with rosettes. Leather interior liner without markings, a few minor snags.
