19th-century Armenian chalice, crafted in silver and silver-gilt. The circular base is decorated with a delicate frieze of cherubs in the clouds. The pedestal features Eucharistic symbols as well as three rare depictions: Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, the Last Supper, and the Entombment.

A cartouche bears the Armenian inscription "Negdariné Koupélian, April 6, 1889". Dimensions: 31 cm. Weight: 698 grams. Like most Armenian chalices of this period, this piece lacks hallmarks, a typical characteristic of 19th-century Armenian production.
