Authentic "Poilu" lighter, a poignant relic of the Great War. This historical object bears the inscriptions "L'eau de la Marne est Amère Verdun" (The water of the Marne is bitter Verdun) and "Mon Rêve Paris" (My Dream Paris), engraved by a soldier as a testament to his experience at the front.
Traces of past use mark its surface, recounting the years in the trenches and of combat. Each scratch, each patina reveals the story of an ordinary man facing the extraordinary.
A rare collector's piece for enthusiasts of military history and French heritage. A tangible link to the collective memory of 1914-1918.
