Distinctive markings: nationality insignia painted on the left side (1804 consular flag and Hand of Fatima), yellow crescent painted on the front. These markings identify a helmet from the 3rd Algerian Infantry Division (DIA), a unit that participated in the liberation of Provence. Beautiful period patina, rare historical example.
